Where are your work facilities located?
The majority of our jobs are located in Central Texas from Marble Falls to La Grange. Some positions are located as far west as San Angelo and as far east as Matagorda on the Texas coast. Check each job posting or sort open jobs by location on our job openings page.

What perks make life at LCRA unique?

Health
Employees and eligible family members have access to free counseling sessions and wellness resources. LCRA also offers free enrollment in the Quit For Life tobacco cessation program and Real Appeal Weight Loss program. Reach fitness goals in one of our three, onsite fitness centers and receive resources to become a healthier you through our wellness program (as well as $50 monthly credits for qualified participants).*
Financial
We provide financial assistance for adoptions or surrogacy and award two postsecondary scholarships to children of LCRA employees each year. Our credit union offers special rates and programs for qualified employees, and our employee discount program provides corporate discounts at many local businesses. Free legal and financial planning resources are available through our Employee Assistance Program. LCRA’s Student Loan 401(k) Contribution Program provides an annual contribution to your 401(k) account while you focus on paying off your student loans.

Hiring process
How do I find out about and apply for jobs?
We post openings on our job openings page. You can also create a job alert and we will send you an email when a position becomes available that matches your search criteria.
If I want to apply for more than one opening, do I have to submit more than one application?
Yes, you must submit an application for each position. Once you have uploaded your resume into the candidate portal it can be used to apply for other openings.
Does LCRA offer internships?
Yes, internship opportunities are posted on our job openings page.
How do I check my application status?
View your application status anytime by logging in to our candidate portal. Once your application has been successfully submitted, you will receive a confirmation email immediately. If you are selected to go further in the process, you will be notified by email or phone.
