Steps for Open Enrollment

Benefits enrollment is Oct. 7-25, 2024. Even if you want to keep all of your current benefits elections or want to waive all benefits, you need to take action within the enrollment portal. The benefits you select during open enrollment will take effect Jan. 1, 2025.

Remember, failing to elect your benefits will result in your healthcare coverage ending on Dec. 31, 2024 (except for your supplemental life and AD&D coverage).

How to enroll in or waive benefits:

  1. Review your benefit opions and the plan premiums.
  2. Select your benefits starting Oct. 7. On the Inside LCRA homepage, click on the Open Enrollment link in your My Favorites list. Then click on the Open Enrollment tile. To access Inside LCRA remotely, log in through VPN. Reference the portal user guide for assistance.
  3. Once you have made your benefits elections, click the Submit Enrollment button in the portal. Print or download a summary for your records.

If you are enrolling your dependent(s) on a plan, be sure to follow the steps outlined in the portal user guide to ensure they are added. If you are adding a new dependent, you must also email your dependent verification documents to [email protected].

You can view your current benefits or your elections for next year at any time by clicking on My Pay, Time Sheet & Benefits on the right side of the Inside LCRA homepage, clicking on the Benefit Details tile and then on Benefits Summary.
