Kick off the year 2025 with fun and exploration on Lake LBJ. Join us at Nightengale Archaeological Center from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. each day for hand-on activities to get the most out of your winter break.

• Discover beneficial survival skills, such as shelter building fire starting, to help you conquer the outdoors.
• Conduct mad science experiments like creating elephant toothpaste and even launch your own rocket.
• Dig into the past and learn about some of the artifacts the scientists found at Nightengale. Even conduct your own mock dig.
• Travel to other countries and learn about their culture, the food they eat and other traditions.
• Reach new heights and go rock climbing on our 30-foot rock wall.
• Test your aim with stone age and prehistorical tools such as bows and arrows and atlatls.
