The dining room at McKinney Roughs seats more than 100 people.

Host your next conference, workshop, retreat or meeting at one of LCRA’s nature parks and natural science centers. Nonprofit, government and corporate groups are eligible to use the facilities for a reasonable fee. Making reservations is easy – simply contact the facility of your choice for arrangements.

Canyon of the Eagles
Located on Lake Buchanan in Burnet County, Canyon of the Eagles offers first-class accommodations and spacious meeting rooms. The Vanishing Texas River Cruise launches from the preserve, and its 70-foot, 200-passenger boat offers year-round cruises. The park also offers kayak, canoe and boat rentals, guided boat tours and youth camps through Lake Buchanan Adventures.

• A large meeting room can accommodate up to 120 people and can be partitioned into three closed sections.
• The Republic Room offers 1,300 square feet for displays or meetings and can seat up to 75 people.
• A 64-unit lodge provides on-site overnight accommodations.

McKinney Roughs Nature Park
Located 13 miles east of the Austin Bergstrom International Airport, McKinney Roughs is where convenience meets conservation. McKinney Roughs offers guided trips along the Colorado River, hiking excursions, as well as comfortable, on-site accommodations.

• The spacious meeting room hosts up to 120 people and can be divided into three separate sections. A kitchen area is available.
• A catered dining hall accommodates up to 250 people.
• Three dormitories house up to 128 guests.

Westcave Preserve
Located 40 minutes west of Austin, Westcave Preserve is a perfect getaway.

• The new Warren Skaaren Environmental Learning Center can be used for meetings or small corporate functions, and can accommodate up to 60 people (30 indoors and 30 outdoors).
• No on-site lodging is available.

Cooper Farm
Located near La Grange, Cooper Farm has a large meeting barn, land management and conservation demonstration sites, and trails through areas of native grasses and wildflowers.

• The 6,000-square-foot Sternadel Meeting Barn seats up to 450 people.
• Audio-visual equipment includes a 12-foot projector screen, projection equipment and videocassette player.
• Picnic areas have tables and barbecue pits.
• Cabins with satellite TV and other amenities are available at LCRA’s nearby Oak Thicket Park at Lake Fayette.
