LCRA offers grants and services for local capital projects and nonprofit and government organizations that serve the public and enhance the region's quality of life

• Grant program providing matching grants to help local governments and nonprofits with capital improvements and other public projects.
• The Central Texas Recycling Association is a cooperative of local governments, schools, nonprofits and other organizations that work together to reduce landfill costs by recycling. In July 2006 the association became an affiliate of the Recycling Alliance of Texas.
• Through a voluntary payroll deduction plan, employees can donate money to charitable social service organizations through LCRA Employees' United Charities and Earth Share of Texas.
